After lunch, we got our bikes and drove to the neighbourhood where we're going to organize our Urban Safari's: Linkeroever. Because it was so hot (36 degrees) we got some free time to swim and play in the lake after a busy morning. The afternoon program was about the Dice Game, a game in sort of monopoly style that not only learned us how unfair and unequal society can let you feel when you're discriminated and excluded from a group. The purpose was to be aware of the fact that this happens in society every day, we learned the need to adapt and overcome obstacles when we enter a new group/community but also how acceptance and support can effect our integration in a new group/community. This also inspired us to use it on the Urban Safari.
Before we left we did another game where we stated something about us and other could join our statement of it applied on them to. By playing this game we realised that we had more in common than we thought and that we should focus on our similarities and not our differences.
